Guitar Review, Pppart 3
Jackson JS32T Kelly
I've tried a few JS models before this, but the JS32T Kelly feels more comfortble than the Dinky or Rhoads. As it's a JS model, the specs are almost similar to the other JS models. Bolt -on maple neck with the cool Jackson inlays and they're Jumbo Frets- that's something I love. The guitar comes with the stock humbucking pickups, CVR2 which are quite versatile. It's a string-through guitar, also with the stock JS390 bridge. It's a good guitar for metal kiddos but the shape restricts you to play comfortably while you're sitting down. So yea, you gotta stand up to play with little Kelly here.
Squire Guitars
Okay, I've tried many Squires that day but I picked out the good ones to be review-ed over here.
Squire Deluxe Stratocaster

Squire Guitars
Okay, I've tried many Squires that day but I picked out the good ones to be review-ed over here.
Squire Deluxe Stratocaster
When I first spotted this guitar, it gave me the vintage-style feel. Maybe it's because of the parts, colour etc.. Anyways, this is a Deluxe Strat that Squire has, which is pre-stocked with Duncan-Designed single coils. SC101. The body's basswood with a C-shaped maple neck and fingerboard, 22 frets which are medium-jumbo and the strat headstock. The neck feels great on this Squier but the tone's lacking of something, it's just well, not perfect. The guitar's cheap, so if I were to buy this, I would definitely change it's pickups. The Duncan-Designed pickups really screwed the nice feel of a Fender/Squier guitar. Texas Special pickups are priced at around RM770 if not mistaken (:
Squier Deluxe Hot Rails Stratocaster
I wonder if Squier has heard me over the previous guitar so they presented me this... (: Squier Deluxe 'Hot Rails' Strat. This guitar's more aggresive than the previous one, and the Duncan-Designed pickups HR101 single coils are high-output singles that outerperforms the SC101. Basswood body, C-shaped maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Once again, 22 medium-jumbo frets, but large 60's strat headstock this time. Personally I feel that this is like a Squier type of the Fender Jim Root model, but close to that. It feels more like a metal guitar than the usual Fender feel. Rosewood fingerboard allows me to shred good too. The guitar looks good too, with the black control knobs!
Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster
This is my personal favourite over the many Squier guitars I've tried so far. The sunburst finish really caught my attention. The body's Indian Red Cedar with the C-shaped maple and rosewood fingerboard. 21 medium-jumbo, and ocne again, Duncan-Designed SC101 pickups. Why is this my favourite even with the SC101s? Ask the Indian Red Cedar and the medium-jumbo rosewood. The tone's really good on this one, it gives me the close feel of a Fender, and it looks like the John Mayer model too! Great guitar at the price, and it's just great!
IBANEZ
Yea there's gonna be like 4 guitars here, covering the SA and RG series. Ibanez!
Ibanez SA120EX
Coverd humbuckers on a SA? This I gotta try. It feels like an RG guitar, but the.. okay why not let's run through the specs first. 3-piece SA neck, mahogany body, SAT PRO bridge and AH5 neck/ AH6 bridge humbuckers. True-Duo feature too! Okay, feel-great. Looks-good. Tone-a flatter tone of the RG guitar. It's not really the usual SA guitar you got in mind, this is more versatile! It reminds me of the Cort guitars I've tried out some time ago. Good guitar , but it's a little pricey. (:
Ibanez SA260FM
Flamed maple top on a mahogany! Woah, at this price. Maple 3 piece neck & Rosewood frets too! SAT PRO II Bridge with stock neck AHS1/ bridge AHS2 and mid True Duo pickups! Simple to say, this guitar is made for the beginner rock guitarists, with it's balanced tone you can go shredding too! Blues is a good job on this too! And the price is cheapppppp!!
Ibanez RG350M
Yellow! They should make this a Spongebob guitar (: but sadly the sound's a little heavy for our yellow friend. 3 piece maple, Wizard II neck. Jumbo frets, basswood body and maple fingerboard. EDGE III bridge. Neck-mid-bridge INF3-INFS3-INF4. Black hardware. Conclusion, awesome! This is one shred guitar. INFs are high-output pickups and they sound good too! The Edge III's good and stable. Neck's comfortable to slide up and down the neck! Good price too!
IBANEZ RGR465M- 2010 Limited Edition
This, is a masterpiece fom Ibanez. 3 piece wizard II maple neck, basswood body, JUMBO FRETS, EDGE III BRIDGE, REVERSED HEADSTOCK, BLACK HARWARE and DiMarzio D-Activator Hum + DiMarzio Air Norton Single! OMG. This is THE guitar. RM2k. Feels VERY comfortable, sound's GOOD. DiMarzios rock, and the guitar's cheap! Awesome shred guitar at a affordble price! I even got a friend who bought it on the spot after trying it out! You gotta try this!

Guitar Review! and it's Ppppart Two!
GUITAR REVIEWS PART 2 \m/
Okay, to start off let me recall one of the previous guitars I've tried out recently, the Cort KX101. This afternoon I was actually there again to do some more reviews and I spotted this Cort KX-CUSTOM.
Neck-thru construction, rosewood neck, 24 frets, Tone Pros locking bridge, Seymour Duncan JB/59' and coil tap feature. Yes, it does ring a bell as it's actually the same specs as the KX101 except that this KX-CUSTOM is much better than the KX101. Interested to know why? It's the wood. Mahogany body with flame maple top. The tone was very balanced with a little low-end. The first thing that came to my mind was to test out Sweet Child O'Mine on it and it was brilliant. Plus it has locking tuners and the fret inlays are cool, reminds me of Alexi Laiho's signature ESP Scythe. So once again, Cort managed to win my respect. At just RM1990, this is awesome!
Next up, my friend Clement was curious how nice would an Epiphone SG sound like. Yes, he has been watching a bit of Jack Black's School of Rock. (: so we picked up our next guitar, the Epiphone SG Faded G-400.
This guitar has a set neck, mahogany. The body's mahogany too, but it has a rosewood fretboard. Feels very comfortable, just that the neck's a little fatter than usual, which I personally don't like (: Anyway, it's stocked with Alnico Classic hums in the bridge and neck positions. In my humble opinion, the tone of the guitar wasn't as good as expected from a mahogany body. It was like any ordinary low-end Epiphone guitars, to me. The bridge pickup is kind of flat, and not very versatile, but in the neck you get a 'muff' tone. It's very.. Muffy. It totally changes the distortion, and makes it more like a crunchy distortion. Maybe that was the actual intention of the guitar but still it wasn't a very good job. At least the sustain is strong though.. RM1990, same as the KX-CUSTOM.
What's the verdict? The CORT KX-CUSTOM.
The both guitars are at the same price, so I would rather go for something more versatile and gives me a stronger distortion. Plus, I don't really fancy the Epiphone's Worn Brown finish. Gives me the creeps. Rock on fellas!

Guitar Review!
OSCAR WONG PUBLISHING BRINGS YOU..
GUITAR REVIEWS PART ONE
(:
GODIN REDLINE 3
Impressive axe for the guys who tune into the metal genre. The Floyd Rose equipped is a very good one! It allows me to dive bomb all the way to the max. The intonation was still good after doing some crazy dive bombing! In simpler words, the floating bridge really satisfied me. The guitar's stocked in with the EMG 81 pickup in the bridge position and the EMG 85 in the neck position. These active pickups are just killers. I hooked it up to a Smarvo KHM300S head through a KM412A angled cabinet, it really sounded good! But I personally think that EMG 60s should replace the EMG 80, as the sound's more rhythm-ish. Next, it has the usual stuff; 3-way switch, tone and volume knobs. 22 frets. Okay, this guitar comes in two types- rosewood or maple fingerboard. I chose the BLACK HG model, because I'm pretty used to rosewood fingerboards, and the colour's nice! The neck is very comfortable, it's like a combination of Jackson and ESP/LTD necks. Plus, the body actually has a black binding, but you can't really see it here because you know, the guitar itself is already black. Great guitar at a steal price! RM3290
FENDER AMERICAN SPECIAL STRATOCASTER
Initially the main reason I wanted to test out this guitar is because I'm interested in the Fender Texas Special Pickups it has. And yes, it really sounded nice! *The pickups alone costs about RM700* Still the same stack amp, I tweaked the reverb and selected the neck pickup with the tone turned down, and it's pretty similar to the Mayer tone! It has an alder body, maple fingerboard and neck and the huge strat headstock! Pretty good guitar for playing jazz and blues! The Texas special sounds good too on distortion, gave me the classic blues tone. Too bad it's a bit pricey. The neck's very comfortable too. It's completely different from the usual Squier guitars. Yeah, you pay for what you get! This is the REAL Fender. And a great one too!
CORT KX101
After trying out a metal axe and a jazz guitar, I decided to test a more versatile guitar. Yeah, one with Seymour Duncans stocked in it. The Cort KX101 is a good choice, at RM1690 it is a perfect choice for rock guitarists. To my surprise, it has a neck-thru construction- that's something you don't find commonly! Seymour Duncan JB and SH1 59'. MAHOGANY body and neck! Rosewood fingerboard! 24 frets for solo-ing! The neck resembles the Schecter guitar necks and it's a little fat. That's good, for me! Tone Pros locking bridge (CAVR) w/string-thru body! It even has the coil tap function! Perfect guitar at the price! You're looking at a brilliant guitar over here!
Right now, I would go for the Cort KX101. Mainly because the Fender's way out of my budget. And I'm not really prepared to pay RM3300 for the Redline, yet. Check out The Guitar Store in Kepong, guys! They have some good guitars over here and the staff are friendly too! Thumbs up!

FINAL JAMMING.
Went for my last guitar class in Musique School.
Yea the school's closing down, I blame you-know-who.
Anyways, Goldberg asked me what I wanna do today.
"For my final class, I have one final wish- JAM"
And our good friend told me that he's gonna get some INSPIRATION first.
According to the GOLDBERG CHAN DICTIONARY FOR DUMMIES,
it means to smoke. lol
"you want me to play guitar or drums?"
"DRUMS of course" LOL
There we go,
Pantera- Cemetery Gates, Cowboys From Hell..
Metallica- Creeping Death, Seek And Destroy, Enter Sandman, MASTER OF PUPPETS.
* Master Of Puppets started to pump up the crazy mood! we played it beyond 208 b.p.m!
Lamb Of God- Hourglass, Omerta
Killswitch Engage- This Fire Burns, My Curse, Rose Of Sharyn, This Is Absolution, Fixation Of The Darkness
Trivium- Like Light To The Flies
Steel Panther- Death To All But Metal
ENDURANCE. *wipes sweat*
Pity CLEMENT for suffering with me and Goldberg playing, without ear plugs. hahaha
After some time, I threw the towel. I surrender! Damn tired, my right arm was completely NUMB.
Goldberg's head was like a SWEAT BALL. hahahahahaha
I wonder how MUCH tissues we've used up to wipe the sweat.
Damn epic finale for me on my last guitar class in Musique School.
This spells the end of Musique.
Oscar Wong, has left the building (:

Advice
Was going through my Facebook activities 2-3 months ago.
Found this meaningful advice from a friend, Haoto..
Oscar , sometime we don't have to care , and know what are they thinking . This is your life . U live for your own self , is not for another people . Live without regret . Oh yeah , u cannot control what are they thinking but why do u have to change yourself ?? U can't go back to the time , just do whatever u want when you are alive . We don't know what will happen tomorrow . Just .... Be YOURSELF
(: it's a niceeee advice.
Rock on!
